Sanjay Dutt in Lakshmi Narasimha Bollywood remake
Now, it’s the turn of Balakrishna’s 2004 hit film Lakshmi Narasimha to be remade in Bollywood. According to sources, the film is titled as Thanedaar Returns. Sanjay Dutt is playing the role essayed by Balakrishna in this remake. Noted director KS Ravi Kumar is set to make his debut in Hindi with this film.
Actually, Lakshmi Narasimha is the remake of 2003 Tamil hit Saamy which has Vikram and Trisha in the lead roles. Thanedaar Returns will go onto the sets sometime in April, 2012. Director Ravi Kumar is planning to complete this movie at the earliest so that he can take part in Rajinikanth’s Kochaidayaan.
Anirudh Ravichander who created waves with his Kolaveri Di with hero Dhanush is going to provide soundtrack of this film. More details awaited.
